Hello, my name is Lily. I am 8 years old and I study in Grade Three at Greenfield School. Every morning, I wake up early to have breakfast with my family. My favorite breakfast is pancakes with maple syrup. After breakfast, I walk to school with my best friend, Tom.

At school, we learn many interesting things. Today, our teacher, Miss Sarah, told us about the seasons. She explained that there are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Spring is when flowers bloom, and birds sing happily. Summer is hot, and we can go swimming. Autumn is cool, and the leaves change color. Winter is cold, and sometimes it snows.

After class, I like to play with my classmates. We often play tag or jump rope during recess. At home, I help my mom by setting the table for dinner. We usually eat together as a family.

I love my school and my friends. Life is fun and full of learning!
